These lessons are designed for use for learners in P4-7 (Yr 3-6, aged 7-12). Below you will find resources for 6 lessons using the micro:bit. Each of these contain:
- A full lesson plan with links to all the completed code and videos used in the lesson (I suggest reading this first).
- A Teacher PowerPoint which includes embedded videos for each lesson, code and question prompts.
- A learner’s links document including links to code (this could be posted in your Google Classroom/Team/Shared Drive for learners to access during the lesson).
- Relevant Worksheets for some lessons.
The suggested timing for these lessons is 45-60mins however they can be easily adapted by only including ‘Part 1’ or extended using the extension task. The Beyond Basics Challenge is based on the learning in lesson 6.
These resources were created as part of my role in the Digital Learning Team at Moray Council. They are provided below to benefit as many learners as possible.
